Community & Connection Groups:

At EWC it is our desire for people to have a place to belong in healthy relationships with others and God and to become more like Jesus Christ. We believe that the best place for this to happen is in a small group environment. Community happens in groups only when all of the other elements of being a follower of Christ are being practiced. All of our groups help people move along their spiritual journey in the areas of Personal Growth, Using our Gifts, Visionary Giving, and Greater Impact.

Connection Groups are groups of people meeting in homes once a month throughout Atlanta and the surrounding area for a combination of fellowship, prayer & Bible study. Home Cell Groups are a place to experience true community with other believers. Cell groups are a way to get connected and begin to feel a part of the EWC family.

The Connection Group concept began thousands of years ago as the early Christian Church was being created. This ministry is talked about in Acts 2:42, "Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ."
