Connection Groups
Too often people who attend church are merely observers, coming to and from a service, unconnected to those around them. This is not what the church is supposed to be about. It was created by God, through Jesus, to be a place where people can know others.
At East West Church, it is our desire for people to have a place to belong in healthy relationships with others and God. Connection Groups are designed to give people an opportunity to be a part of a spiritual community that engages in “life on life” relationships. Community happens in groups only when all of the other elements of being a follower of Christ are being practiced. All of our groups help people move along their spiritual journey of personal growth.
The Connection Group Ministry of the East West Church is designed to be relationally driven and Biblically centered. Through these elements, participants in our Connection Groups will experience true community with other believers.
Connection Groups always plan time for having fun together. Whether it’s going out to eat, meeting for challenging wii games, pool parties or some other activity, our connection groups do more than just sit around and talk. We want to build a genuine friendship among our members. Providing opportunities for recreation and leisure activities help people get to know each other in ways that will not happen just because you sit next to someone in a service.If you are not currently involved with a Connection Group, we hope you will join in an incredible life-changing ministry. We believe this is a ministry that will draw you closer to God and others who walk with Him.
