Remembering the Often Forgotten

When it comes to Christmas, nursing home residents are usually not on the recipient list. Many people adopt families and children for Christmas, and that's wonderful, but the residents of our nursing homes are often forgotten.

With an estimated 30% area nursing home residents having no family in the area or people to visit them, we want to make sure that those residents' are not forgotten this Christmas. The family of EWC is adopting 200 seniors at a local nursing center to provide them with basic supplies, and we need your help.

You can help by donating: Chapstick; Kleenex; Antibacterial Hand Wipes or Lotion. ~ Or you can make an online donation through Paypal. We will hand deliver these items to the nursing center on December 18 at 9:30am.

All items can be dropped off during normal office hours or any of our services. If you need more information, or would like to assist as we deliver these items to bring smiles to those often forgotten at Christmas, please contact the church office 770.435.1152
