EWC Anniversary Barbecue & Chili Cookoff

On this date, in 1984, our church had its first service on Hurt Road. Thirty-three years later, we would like to invite you to join us for this special anniversary celebration. We encourage you to bring your favorite sides, dessert and soft drinks, and join us at 6:00pm to judge the chili. The food and fellowship begin around 7:00pm.
The Chili Competitors arrive at noon to begin preparing their own special recipes for a Chili Cook-off. At the same time, Jeff Cull and Jim White will be slow cooking their famous Bar-B-Que to share with everyone at the Anniversary Celebration.
Judging will be from 6-7pm. There will be a $3 charge per bowl for those who would like to taste or participate in judging the chili. This helps cover the cost of the meat and other expenses incurred for the event.
